About Perth Switchboard Experts
Perth Switchboard Experts is a lead-matching and referral service that connects Perth homeowners and businesses with approved local licensed electricians who specialise in switchboard work. Any electrical work is performed by the assigned electrician, who is an independent licensed contractor.
How enquiries are handled
When you submit an enquiry through our website, your details are passed to The Tradie Code platform, which assigns your job to an approved local licensed electrician in your area. The assigned electrician will contact you directly to discuss your requirements and, where applicable, arrange an on-site assessment.
All electrical work is carried out by the assigned electrician. Any agreement for services or works is entered into directly between you and that electrician.
Quotes and pricing
Any indicative pricing or estimate provided is given in good faith based on the information you supply and is subject to on-site inspection. Final quotes are issued by the assigned electrician. Quotes may be varied where site conditions, access, additional parts, compliance upgrades or unforeseen works make variation reasonably necessary. Any variation will be discussed with you before the work proceeds.
Licensing
Electrical work in Western Australia must be performed by appropriately licensed electricians. Electricians assigned through Perth Switchboard Experts are required to hold the relevant Western Australian electrical licences and insurances for the work they carry out. You may request the licence details of your assigned electrician at any time.
Compliance
Switchboard work carried out by the assigned electrician will be completed in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and applicable Western Australian regulations, and a Certificate of Electrical Compliance will be issued where required.
Warranties
Manufacturer warranties on switchboards, breakers, RCDs and components are provided by the manufacturer in accordance with their terms. Workmanship warranties, where offered, are provided by the assigned electrician and are subject to that electrician's own terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perth Switchboard Experts is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, this website;
- Reliance on any information published on this website; or
- The acts, omissions, workmanship, quotes, pricing or conduct of any electrician assigned to your enquiry.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
